Most of the time, I make music without looking over my shoulders. There are times in my life when I have thought that could've been a mistake. Every now and then, I'll come across some work that I've "done" that others have actually noticed. Sometimes it's positive feedback, other times it's negative feedback. This week, I saw something that I found rather suprising.
Apparently, my first Billboard Magazine mention was in the year 2006 after the release of my debut album, “Soltrain.” I had no idea, no one around me knew, there wasn’t an internet tip-off or a local buzz or anything (then again, I guess there wouldn’t have been). I will admit that this is something that I’m proud of – something well worth blogging about.
