I’ve always been an activist at heart – a person who is passionately committed to doing my part in ensuring that equality and justice is recognized and evenly distributed to every person (and/or group) within my reach. Part of my universal mission is to, “inspire and strengthen humanity”, and without a conscious effort, my music constantly takes ownership of this self-charged responsibility (American Drum, Jena Tree). I have spent much of my life de-programming myself from personal prejudice, phobia and intolerance learned from outside influences. I now proudly declare my affirmation and acceptance of diversity. I celebrate the individual liberty to practice, speak, think and live out one’s personal truth, free from public shame, religious dogma, community judgment, civil punishment or violence. Freedom and respect for others isn’t an American principle, it’s a universal law that must be embraced by all who rent a space in this world. We must all recognize that mutual respect is a necessary component for the health and survival of all life. The arrogant, disrespectful, elitist attitudes coupled with abusive, cold behaviors learned in families, neighborhoods, schools, churches and other social circles that are applied to those who differ from our 'norm' are a terminally-poisonous, crippling form of ignorance that stifles human progress. Today, I officially re-dedicate my musical efforts to the mission of dissolving hate through spreading love awareness. LOVE > FEAR
